A master's job is never done, it lives on through the ages.

The Installation of Officer's was held on January 17th and vocals were sang by Mrs. Kathleen Bretz accompanied by Bro. Ralph Kuetel Past Master of Fresno Lodge 247. After an enjoyable evening refreshments were served in the dining hall.

In May a brother was expelled from the fraternity for being found guilty of a felony by the local courts. The Master read a letter about the starting of a Research Lodge in the Central Valley who had already received 50 applications for membership, and had a place to meet, and the dispensation for the new Lodge had already been applied for.

In September the Building Trustee's were ordered to have the parking lot paved at Clovis Lodge. Once again progress was being enjoyed in Clovis Lodge.

It is worth noting that the Lodge was still going strong with membership during this time. They were doing degree's on a fairly busy schedule. There was hardly a month that went by that there were not new applications for degree's.

Bro. John E. Good was laid to rest in Fresno. Brother Good was a member since 1911 when he received his degree's. Bro. Good also owned one of the first buildings that Clovis Lodge rented in the early years. His passing was a great loss to Clovis Lodge.

In December 1990, Bro. Robert Bretz passed away after a long illness. Bro. Bretz had been a long time member of Clovis Lodge and was very active until the time of his illness and for many years offered the use of his property for the annual Lodge picnic in Shaver Lake.
